2016 Service-Learning Leadership Seminar: Level 1
Service-Learning Leadership Seminar: Level 1 is designed to help teachers more effectively use service-learning, as well as Project Based Learning, 21st Century Skills, career development and character education strategies, to inspire a "sense of passion and purpose" in their students. The course will help promote a heightened level of energy and commitment that enables young people to take charge of their learning and lives as they "create their legacies."
The SL Leadership Seminar: Level 1 will meet 9:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. (coffee, etc. available at 8:30 a.m.), on July 25, 26, and 27, 2016. Four required follow-up sessions will be held—September 7, October 12, Nov. 9, and Dec. 7 (4:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.) to ensure project continuity and support. All sessions will be held at The Graf Center (Upper Arlington Schools), 2020 Builders Place, Columbus, OH, 43204.
