Albuquerque Public Schools (NM) Trains Staff in Project-Based Learning
Beginning 2014-2015, Albuquerque Public Schools is sponsoring district-wide professional development for elementary and middle school staff from selected schools in Project-Based Learning with a strong focus on service-learning. Consultants Kathy Meyer and Ellen Erlanger (Partnerships Make A Difference), along with Marjori Krebs (University of New Mexico) are facilitating these training sessions. This year, workshop participants will be involved in eight full days of training throughout the school year which allows them to develop and practice new skills over time.
