In high school, the concept of creating a legacy assumes even greater relevance as young people prepare to take charge of their adult lives. Through our programs, students continue the journey of discovery -- identifying and demonstrating their gifts (things they have a knack or talent for), fascinations (topics, issues or activities that hold their interest), and positive character traits (ethical strengths related to "doing the right thing") by taking action on things that matter. By identifying and becoming positive role models, engaging in service-learning projects and exploring career-related activities, students can develop a stronger sense of passion and purpose for their lives.
The Particulars
Everyday People Make A Difference Student Journal: Creating A Legacy
