2017 Service-Learning Leadership Seminar: Level 1
This graduate course opportunity will enable interested schools to engage additional teachers in in-depth and job-embedded professional development re: service-learning "best practices" and their relationship to excellent teaching. This interactive course is designed to help teachers more effectively use service-learning, as well as Project Based Learning, 21st Century Skills, career development and character education strategies, to inspire a "sense of passion and purpose" in their students. The course will help promote a heightened level of energy and commitment that enables young people to take charge of their learning and lives as they "create their legacies."
