Columbus, OH—The Siemer Family Foundation, a Supporting Foundation of The Columbus Foundation, has continued its support of the “Growing Together” Service-Learning Network via Partnerships Make A Difference through a grant of $10,000. Partnerships is a non-profit organization that works to expand the base of trained service-learning practitioners in central Ohio through the “Growing Together” Service-Learning Network, a consortium of more than 45 urban, rural, and suburban schools and 30 community agencies.
The funds will support The “Growing Together” Service-Learning Network’s efforts to provide in-depth professional development for teachers and service-learning and leadership opportunities for their students (specifically in the Columbus City Schools) during the 2016-2017 school year.
