2016-2017 Six District Educational Compact Service-Learning/PBL Workshop Series
Educators from the Kent, Cuyahoga Falls, Hudson, Stow-Munroe Falls, Woodridge, and Tallmadge schools are exploring the question: "how can more students access the needed career development processes at both an earlier age and in more creative ways to enhance their understanding of their career interests and skills?" Members of the Six District Educational Compact, educators from these districts believe the students who are most in need of these enhanced career development activities include ALL students during the middle school years and those students in high school who do not fit nicely into already existing initiatives and courses of study (i.e., the GAP students). This workshop series has been designed to train participants in high quality service-learning/project based learning and identify enhanced career development experiences for all students.
